Naomi Watts and Jodie Turner-Smith both rocked chic looks at the 2023 Gem Awards in New York City on Friday.

Turner-Smith, 36, turned heads in her stunning suit with billowing black and white stripes, accentuating her statuesque physique to perfection.
Jodie’s glossy hair flowed down in an edgy style as she opted for dark purple lips and a black designer clutch.
Watts sparkled in jewelry by Anita Ko, while Turner-Smith adorned each ear with elaborate diamond creations and showed off a dazzling ruby on her hand.
The GEM Awards are the jewelry industry’s Oscars, honoring designers and executives who have advanced “the visibility of fine jewelry and watches.”
The A-list soiree was held at 42nd Street Cipriani and brought out the biggest names in fine jewelry.
Brad Pitt’s girlfriend Ines de Ramon also made an impression at the ceremony, putting on a buxom display in a plunging black dress. The look had a high slit to show off her long legs
Turner-Smith will star in the upcoming Star Wars series The Acolyte, scheduled for a 2024 release on Disney+.
According to the mystery show’s official premise, The Acolyte takes place “about 100 years before the prequel movie Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.”
The central story will reportedly revolve around ‘a former Padawan’ [who] reunites with her Jedi master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they face are more ominous than they ever expected.”
Watts will soon be seen as one of the most glamorous women of the mid-century as she takes on the role of fashion icon Babe Paley in the second season of Feud.
Based on Laurence Leamer’s bestseller, Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era, the second season follows the famous implosion of New York high society when Truman Capote betrayed Manhattan’s elite by in his fiction.
The author of In Cold Blood and Breakfast at Tiffany’s blew a hole in the upper crust of the rich and powerful when he published an excerpt from his unfinished novel Answered Prayers in 1975.
The mystery novel turned out to be a bawdy narrator who took aim at some of his closest friends, who happened to be the chicest women of their time.
Watts is joined by Chloe Sevigny, who plays legendary socialite CZ Guest, while actresses Diane Lane and Calista Flockhart will also feature prominently.
SAG Award winner Tom Hollander plays Truman Capote and reportedly shaved his head to better portray the controversial writer.
